Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
